Star Blazers/Death Note-WTF?!

(Introduction by Ami, Version 2.0)
To those of you reading, this probably seems very weird,
and it is. However, I can not take all the credit. I must give some to my
friend, Brittany who helped me create the initial idea my freshman year of high
school.
Sometime in the winter of that year, she introduced me to
the Death Note series and I began explaining Star Blazers to her,
and basically any friend that would listen. So, we both got into what the other
was trying to explain, and one day, while joking around in class we got the
idea to combine the two series and Sailor Moon. And though the Sailor
Moon idea was later dropped, it was an essential part of the explanation
for the Death Note characters making it into the 2200-2201 timeline.
In the initial story, Sailor Pluto had left the time gate
under the watch of Luna and Artemis' kitten, Diana who fell asleep at her post.
About this time, Mello came around and somehow fell into the time gate. By a
twist of fate, he ended up in the Cometine palace, and was immediately thrown
in jail by Invidia for being an intruder. He was, however, rescued later by
Misa when his absence was noticed, and, though he made it clear that he did not
want to return, Misa dragged him back a few days later (along with Rini/Chibiusa)
so that she could explore and later, steal Invidia's belongings. However, they
were found out and taken back to their own time for good, or so everyone
thought...
We played around with that idea for awhile, before deciding
to drop the Sailor Moon aspect, for reasons I do not remember. But, we
kept up with main part of the story, eventually adding in more characters, such
as Light and L, who take up working in the kitchen as food testers, Tamaro, and
original character (OC) of mine, who's Light's psychic cousin ,and Matt and
Near, who often appear separately, depending on the context of the story. Other
OCs were also added, but were, like other aspects, dropped for unknown reasons.
But the current setup works just fine for us, more so me, since I'm the writer
and I would not want nor remember how to write the extra OCs.
Along with this dropping or irrelevant characters and
plots, several of the current characters' roles changed as the story developed.
For example, Misa was initially just an annoyance who seemed to exist for the
express purpose of driving Invidia crazy. But, as the plot developed she became
less of an annoyance and more of the helpful sort, doing what she could to stay
on Invidia's good side and maybe even become a friend, since Invidia has so
little of them. In later stories she has also been known to sympathize with
Invidia due to incidents in her past.
Huge changes also happened in the development of character
relationships. In earlier stories Zordar was either not present or tried to
stay away from the Death Note crew, but later is shown to have some
tolerance (more than likely due to his experiences as a ruler and Invidia's
father.) and just puts up with them, not even bothering when they get in
trouble.
And, though most of these stories take place in the period
motioned above, a few stray out to times such as the 2180's where Invidia's a
baby, to 2220 when she is on the Argo with Arty in the Yamato 5
timeline. But, since this is an alternate universe, many storyline events and
dates are never even referenced, and inconsistencies are present in one or two
of the earlier stories, which are also, not written as well as later ones, I
will admit.
However, like a lot of fan fiction out in the world, these
stories are just meant for entertainment, and who knows? Maybe you'll get
something out of them too!
