Genesis is a two-part work of Star Blazers
fan fiction that I have had in my head for some time.
This is the Prehistory of the Galaxy
Visions universe, or my own fanfic interpretation how the actual
original two series of Star Blazers happened in my universe, beginning
in May 2199 and ending in November of 2201 (my interpretation of the timeline.)
This is a prequel to everything
that you have read, but a prequel where there are a few minor differences
between this and the Star Blazers series you saw aired on TV.
Most of this is sourced from Star
Blazers (the classic 52 episodes that were originally Space
Battleship Yamato I and Space Battleship Yamato 2)
However, this will not be a straight adaption of Star Blazers.
Elements will be thrown in from the original Yamato series; along with a few
small elements from Arrivederci Yamato (the 1978 movie where he
died, she died, everybody died) with a few dollops from the Yamato 2199 and
Yamato 2202 reboots, and a lot of stuff I have invented from my head, including
characters that you have already seen in the rest of the Galaxy Visions
Saga.
It all wraps up neatly at the
end with the very beginning of my first fanfic of the Galaxy Visions
cycle: Tomorrow Never Knows.
