The Story of a Yamatoholic….

Howdy! I’m Peg, and about 30 years ago, my sister urged me to watch
this new cartoon that she liked. I refused for weeks, but one day I gave
in and watched a young man with a strange haircut find his brother’s wrecked
spaceship on one of Saturn’s moons. I’ve been a Yamatoholic ever
since. I’m still not sure how I married a man who’s not a fan, but at
least the dog watches with me.
Elements of this story have been in my head since the early ‘80s. I started writing it down last year, and finally worked up the courage to share it. Because, as my on-again-off-again pretend boyfriend of three decades, Mark Venture deserves some happiness, darn it!
Peg’s First Tale is entitled: “Reconstruction” and it has much to do with Mark Venture, and his life and strange recovery beginning in late 2201 after the Argo arrived home on Earth….
