Rossana’s Attack! Invidia's Never-Ending Fight!
Another Invidia Tale by AMI MEITSU
A/N: This takes place
somewhere in the 2190s Invidia’s 16 in this story oh and Rossana and her
friends are a little over 19 years old…
Rossana sighed, things just weren’t going right for her
these days…and whose fault was it? Invidia’s. Rossana
had hated her ever since they were little; she thought that just because she
was royal, she was special. It was sickening.
‘I’ll get her one of these days, and It’ll be when she
least expects it! But to do this I’ll need some help, and I’ll need to know
every inch of this Palace…’ Rossana
thought. She had the perfect people in mind, her friends Abel and Zadek, they
had the same opinion she did and all she needed to do was find them…
Meanwhile Invidia was having a bad week of her own, endless
losing battles and stupid cadets is what had her mad. She hated losing and the
cadets were just bastards who didn’t want to listen to her. ‘I hate it, I
hate it, I hate it!’ She thought as she stormed
down the hallway to her suite.
“They’re all idiots!” She raged as she threw her pointer
aside.
Shamura looked at her, she had been in the room waiting for
Invidia to come back in. “Mistress? What’s wrong?” She asked with a concerned
look.
“Well…It’s just…” She hung her head, ran to Shamura and
burst into tears; most of them were out of anger.
“Mistress?”
“It’s not fair! The cadets…They won’t listen! They make fun
of me half the time and stare at me the other half! I don’t get any respect!”
Invidia cried.
“Oh, Invidia…” Shamura rubbed her head as she hugged her.
Invidia looked up at her. Shamura rarely called her by
name, Invidia didn’t know why, but she did like being called ‘Mistress.’
“It’s all right; things like that just take time…” Shamura
explained calmly.
“But they’re supposed to respect no matter what! I’m their
Princess!”
“Just calm down…It’s all right…”
“No it’s not! My Father won’t even help me!” Invidia whined.
“Okay, just shush; you’re stronger than this…” Shamura
whispered.
Meanwhile, Rossana watched her with Zadek and Abel.
‘She is such a crybaby…’ Rossana thought.
“What’s she crying about?” Zadek asked.
“Oh she’s just upset because her Daddy won’t help her gain
respect…” Rossana said in a mocking voice. “Oh, Poor baby…she’s got
everything…” her tone changed to that of resentment. “And she still complains!
She’s a spoiled bitch!”
“I don’t think you have to go that far…” Abel said.
“Everyone has something to complain about.”
Rossana elbowed him. “Knock it off! We hate her, remember?”
“Why are we here?” Zadek asked.
“We have to follow her around for awhile; I want to catch
her by surprise so I have to know the best time to do it.”
“Okay…” Abel said.
“And I need your help because I can’t follow her around all
day alone, and I can’t cover this palace by myself either, now let’s go!”
Rossana dragged them off, and the next day her ‘quest’ began. She spent two
days following Invidia around with her friends. She still had yet to decide the
perfect time of attack, it was somewhere between after her bath and while she
was doing her ‘school work.’ Invidia was home-schooled so she had a teacher
come to her but he did often leave her alone. Zadek and Abel, on the other hand
found it a bit boring being on their own. Though they did find out that Rossana
was partly right, half the time Invidia was nothing but a big ‘Daddy’s girl’
always cuddling up on her father. They always thought that would be a good time
to ‘get her’ but Rossana said it was risky with Zordar there. “Her Daddy will
just protect her…” she said.
“I can't believe her…” Zadek said as they watched
her.Currently they were hiding with Rossana while Invidia was in the bath. They
were hiding next to to a series of shelves; a basket was in front of them, it
gave them their cover.
“You what I can’t believe?” Abel said.
They looked at him.
“That this is the beauty we used to pick on!” His
eyes were as wide as dinner plates as he stared at her, covered by the water
but still showing off a bit…
Rossana hit him “Shut up!” she hissed in a whisper.
“Hm?” Invidia looked around.
“Something wrong Mistress?” Shamura asked. Shamura, by the
way, is Invidia’s bath servant but while that’s her official title she was so
much more than that to Invidia. She was almost like a big sister or an Aunt to
Invidia. Shamura did often talk to her and help her with problems, in fact, she
had stayed around longer than any of her other servants, she
started working for Invidia when Invidia was thirteen.
“No, I thought I heard something…”
“There’s nothing here, I always check. You know that not
even you Father is allowed to see you during your bath time.” Shamura said as
she sat on the edge of the bathtub, which was actually the floor since Invidia’s
bath was just like a pool, it even had a waterfall!
“Thanks for that…” Invidia said. “You really know how I
am.”
“I make it a point to Mistress…” Shamura lifted Invidia’s
chin with her finger. “We’re friends, right?”
Invidia nodded.
“Good, now get out. It’s been an hour, that’s long enough.”
“Fine…” Invidia muttered.
Shamura handed her a long, black bath towel and turned
herself around while Invidia got out. That was another thing Shamura knew, no
matter what-Invidia liked her privacy. Which meant that not even Shamura could
see her fully naked.
After a couple minutes Invidia left and Abel tried going
after her but Rossana had his collar…
“No! We can’t get her with Shamura around either, and I
figured it out.”
“Huh?” The boys looked at her.
“I’ll get her when she’s doing her ‘schoolwork’ and her
teacher leaves her alone, thanks for the help though…” Rossana left and the
boys looked at each other and shrugged. She followed Invidia out of her room
and down the hall to her Father’s room.
‘What’s she doing here now?’ Rossana asked herself. She hid by the door and poked her
head in.
Invidia, now dressed in her nightgown, went over and
climbed up on her father’s bed where he was sitting with some papers.
“Oh, Hi Princess…”
Invidia smiled at him and hugged him. “I love you…” she
said.
“Yes I know, come here…”
“Huh?”
Zordar pulled Invidia into his lap and she cuddled up to
him.
“You are so cute, and you smell so clean…” Zordar teased.
“Father! Stop it…” Invidia laughed.
Rossana turned her head. “It’s sickening” she muttered. ‘She
pretends to be strong but…She’s just a big Daddy’s girl! This is going to be
easier than I thought.’
The next morning Rossana implemented her ‘plan.’ Her plan
was just to fight Invidia and prove that she was better than her, prove to everyone
that Invidia was just a big weakling…
She sat at the end of the hallway while Invidia worked and
her Teacher tried to explain some things to her.
“Come on! Leave already!” Rossana hissed under her breath.
She waited another five minutes until the guy finally left Invidia alone. She
went over and stood behind Invidia.
“Hi…Princess…” She said.
“Huh?” Invidia looked up. “Rossana…” she said.
“What are you working on?”
“Pre-calculus…” Invidia muttered.
“Oh, well I don’t know why they bother teaching someone as
dumb as you Pre-calculus.”
“WHAT?!” Invidia glared at her. “I’ll have you know that this is
ABOVE what I should be learning.”
“Oh, so they’re pretending that you’re smart!”
“Okay, that’s it…” Invidia muttered. She stood up. “I don’t
know what your problem is with me but I DON’T care, just get out! You’re
nothing but a dirty good-for-nothing bitch!”
“Okay that’s it!” Rossana jumped her. Invidia fell backward
over the small kneel-table and Rossana tackled her to the ground.
“Get off of me!” Invidia hissed.
“Nope!” Rossana spat in her face.
“That is disgusting!” Invidia screamed. She then punched
Rossana in the stomach.
Invidia wiped off her cheek and Rossana grabbed her hair
and shook her.
“Don’t you EVER do that again!”
Small tears formed in Invidia’s eyes as Rossana pulled, it
just hurt so much… ‘I have to make her stop!’ Invidia reached up and
grabbed Rossana’s wrist.
Rossana let go of her hair, kind of amazed that Invidia was
fighting back. ‘I thought that she was a weakling…but I guess…’
Invidia stood up. “I am so sick and tired of you!” She
slapped Rossana across the face and pushed her against the wall. “I am your Princess!
You are to RESPECT me! You filthy little…” Invidia didn’t get to finish,
Rossana’s foot went over top of hers, she could swore
that Rossana’s heel cut through her. (Luckily she was wrong.)
Invidia screamed and Rossana scratched her across the face
with her nails.
Invidia fell and put her hand to her cheek. “Blood?” She muttered as she looked at the red fluid on her
hand. She glared at Rossana. “You better have ALL of your rabies shots!” She
jumped at her, held Rossana on the ground and slapped her.
‘She is strong…but how? She’s nothing but a little daddy’s
girl! She’s not supposed to fight!’
Invidia got up. “Listen to me!” She hissed. “You are to
leave me alone, bow to me and respect me!”
“I’ll never bow to a bitch like you!” Rossana got up with
some struggle, wrapped her hands around Invidia’s neck and pushed her against
the wall. “I hope you like being unconscious, or better, DEAD!”
“You…You can’t…” Invidia stuttered as Rossana cut off her
air supply.
“I’ll do what I want! With you out of the way I can do
ANYTHING I want!”
‘I won’t let that happen! She can’t do this to me! I…I
won’t let her take over!’Invidia then used
the last of her strength to reach up and punch Rossana in the stomach-hard.
Rossana let go of Invidia and fell, Invidia then kicked her
over.
“Stay away from me!” She hissed. “I don’t care what you
want but you’re NOT getting it! You are such a bitch! I NEVER did anything to
you! LEAVE ME ALONE!”
“I don’t think so!” Rossana struggled, but she got up and
pushed Invidia into the wall, she then grabbed her shoulders and shook her.
“You’re the bitch! You’re always complaining! Well you know what?! You’ve got a
PERFECT life! No responsibilities, everything is done for you! Everyone obeys
you! It’s Sickening!” She threw Invidia over to the side and pulled out a
pistol she had attached to her ankle, it was hidden by her dress.
“Die…Princess…”
Invidia looked up with a shocked expression on her face.
And Rossana fired; unfortunately, she didn’t have very good
aim so it only grazed Invidia’s shoulder. She growled and shot again, her last
one. This one only grazed Invidia’s arm. “Dammit…” Rossana muttered.
“Why? What did I ever do? You’re…You’re just jealous!”
Invidia slowly walked over to her.
“Give up, you can’t win.” Invidia said with tears in her
eyes. Some of them from the pain others for Rossana, she was starting to feel bad
for the girl. “Jealousy isn’t worth it, you bitch!” She slapped Rossana across
the face, picked her up by the arm and shoved her down again. “Let me know when
you find a better cause for fighting…” With that Invidia left to find her
Father, she needed him now. Her head hurt, her cuts stung and she just wanted
to cry. She knew that she had won this fight…but not the battle…
After a minute or two she remembered that her Father was in
a staff meeting and came into the room. “Father…” She whined.
‘Look Invidia I don’t have time for…” he stopped when he
looked at her. “Princess…What happened?!”He went over.
“’Rossana happened, Father, she attacked me and I won but
it wasn’t worth it…” Invidia hung her head as she began to cry.
“Oh…Princess…” he picked her up and she cried.
“I hurts Father…in more ways than
one…” She whispered.
“I know, we’ll get you a bath and then I’ll get Dr. Baisley
to look at you, all right?”
Invidia nodded and Zordar carried her off.
A couple minutes later she sat in the bath with Shamura and
Zordar looking over her.
“Shamura…he’s staring at me…” Invidia whispered. She was
starting to feel very uncomfortable.
Shamura looked at Zordar. “My Mistress would like you to
leave; it’s getting to be uncomfortable…”
“Yes, well I have to stay here; I’ve got to make sure she’s
all right.”
“Shamura!” Invidia whined. She tried to move down in the water in an
attempt to cover more of her body.
“Zordar…” Shamura looked at him.
“What if I turn around?”
Invidia looked at Shamura and nodded.
“Fine.” Shamura said. Zordar turned and Shamura handed Invidia a
bottle. “And you hurry up, you’re here to just get cleaned up, not have an
actual bath.” Shamura said.
“Right…” Invidia nodded and after a couple minutes she did
get out, but Zordar wouldn’t let her get dressed right way. She remained
wrapped in a black bath towel.
“Father, I’m cold… Why can’t I get dressed?” Invidia said.
“This makes it Easy to strip you.” Zordar said.
“Father! I’m not hurt that bad and he can take care of my injuries
with my slip on! And don’t I at least get a blanket? It’s freezing in here!”
“Just bear it for now.” Shamura said. “You have to.”
“Fine! But you are not stripping me!”Invidia hissed.
They didn’t listen; they spent about fifteen minutes trying
to strip her before the doctor finally held her down and Shamura ripped the
towel off of her, she HATED it.
So later she sat on her bed growling at her father, who was
next to her.
“Oh Honey, stop it. It was necessary.”
“No! It was vile!” Invidia hissed, she was in her nightgown
and wrapped in a black blanket that her Father had given her.
“Oh Dear, you’re never going to be happy are you?” Zordar
pulled her into his lap and cuddled her.
“I will, It just…Takes time…I mean no one is respecting
me…”
“That also takes time Princess…Just wait, Okay?”
Invidia nodded.
“That’s a good girl, now…who’s my Little Princess?” Zordar
asked.
“Me?” Invidia looked up at him.
“Yes…” he held her close.
“I love you…” Invidia whispered, then
she began to fall asleep.
“I love you too Princess…” Zordar said as she slept.‘And I’m sorry about what happened but I promise
to try and stop it, I don’t want you hurt…’ He looked at her, she looked so
sweet and innocent, it was hard to imagine all the
trouble she went through. Zordar smiled and kissed her head. “I love Princess
and I promise to figure this out…For you…”
